HCL is taken from the compound Creatine, which is essential in the process of sending energy directly to muscle. It is naturally produced by the body in organs such as the liver, pancreas and kidneys, and it can be found in areas as diverse as the brain, heart and all muscle tissue. It can be derived from Glycine, Methionine, and Arginine, three very important amino acids, and also from red meats and fish, which typically contain about 2-2.5 grams per pound. Creatine HCL has been shown to help increase overall muscle mass as well as strength, as long as it is taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. It also extends the time of the average workout by giving the body more energy to spend. Due to this, the supplement is a popular choice among athletes and bodybuilders.

Great, but a bit sour Been using this pre and post workout for the last 2 weeks and so far I’ve noticed a huge difference. However, the taste is incredibly sour. I’ve learned the best way for me to take it is more like a shot. Others mix it with juice or something to mask the tartness. I prefer to get it done.To each his own!

Best form of creatine Great product, exactly what I expected. You get a lot for what you pay with bulksupplements. This bag in conjunction with my other supplements will last me one over six months. For those who are unaware this type of creatine has a salty sour taste to it unlike creatine monohydrate. That is to be expected, I mean it’s in the name “HCL” which stands for hydrochloride “salt”. That being said it has a far better absorption rate. I can take less and get more out of it. That’s what I…
