While I endorse taking ALC for those similarly afflicted, I cannot recommend the current version offered under the Jarrow brand. One should look elsewhere to brands sourced from either Lonza (“L-Carnipure” TM) or Sigma Tau (“Biosint” TM), another reputable pharmaceutical grade manufacturer based in Italy. Going to another brand (was: (5 stars) “Exceeded my expectations”) 12/28/2016When the Jarrows formula changed it’s label to what it is now, I didn’t think to check if everything was copacetic. I can’t say for sure that in this last year or so that I wasn’t receiving benefits from it because I am taking their sustained release of Alpha Lipoic Acid.
