is a naturally occurring compound found in the human body and obtained in the diet primarily from meat and fish. Creatine is a popular supplement among active individuals because of its ability to serve as an energy reservoir, especially during intense physical exertion. During short, intense bursts of activity, the body breaks down adenosine triphosphate (ATP) into adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and phosphate for energy. Creatine helps the body convert ADP back to ATP, providing greater amounts of ATP for energy, which may increase short-term endurance and strength. Creatine can also be stored for later use by cells, creating the “energy reservoir” active individuals desire.* NOW® Creatine is 100% pure and contains no additives or preservatives. Creatine may be especially useful for those doing short-term, intense exercise, such as weight lifting, football, basketball, swimming, skiing and cycling.

Trust the current reviews, this product has changed This product used to be great, but now they’re producing it in China and it has a smell/taste to it. Creatine should NEVER have a smell OR taste to it. Trust all the other reviews on here, and find another brand for now. Sadly, this used to be an amazing deal.

Shame on NOW for delivering this substandard Chinese product when it used to be made in the USA. I had used several brands of creatine before, including the Now brand. All had been effective in general and relative to each other. After several months’ break, I purchased this product again. As a previous user, I know about potential side effects and in particular the need to stay hydrated. When I took the first dose, I notice that the powder’s consistency was different, like it didn’t dissolve as well. Unlike other reviewers, I didn’t notice an off flavor, perhaps because I drink it…
