Supports Paleo I found parts of this book good. This author is a former vegetarian who apparently ate lots of carbs, then when he switched to meat and lowered his carbs he became much healthier. I assume he ate lots of carbs, because in this book, he assumes the same of most vegetarians.He speaks highly of the paleo diet, (I am not a fan of that diet, which I will get to in a moment). When it gets down to the facts though, he pretty much says that being a vegetarian won’t keep you from adopting…

Fascinating This book is packed with helpful information. The author appears to be quite knowledgeable. As someone in her 60’s I have been trying to lose weight for years, a pound here or there just to put it back on a few days later. I read the book and started taking both the L-carnidine and the acetyl L-carnidine and lost 3 pounds in 4 days, that does not happen to me. I don’t really want to lose weight that fast, I am just totally impressed that I lost anything at all. I am changing my eating habits…

So interesting! I had read about carnitine in a book about eating a basic low carb diet and that author recommends this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and if you are trying to lose weight and are interested in health and nutrition I recommend this book. Very informative although it could probably stand to be updated a bit. Everyone needs to know about carnitine.
